01 The challenge
This challenger bank wanted to break the limits of in-person savings-account opening and device-specific dependencies for issuing credit. The challenge wasn't to build "yet another app," but to redesign the relationship between the bank, its advisors, and its end customers — with the scalability to go from dozens to thousands of originators without the infrastructure collapsing.
More than a software vendor, the bank needed a partner who understood the banking business, financial regulation, and agile methodologies — to execute fast but safely.
02 What we built
The engagement covered three simultaneous fronts over several quarters — each with a specialized Cell under the ITSense Method.
2.1 Strategic digitization
- Omnichannel acquisition solution — web + mobile for advisors and customers, scaling from 20 to 2,000 active users without degradation.
- Modernized payments infrastructure with scalable architecture, advanced security, and provider orchestration.

- Acquisition strategy and UX/UI with audiovisual production for launch.
2.2 Digital transformation — growth & profitability
The web + mobile tool became the second most profitable product at the bank. More than ≈$3.5M USD disbursed per year and more than 2,000 advisors active in credit origination. Required support dropped to under 1% — a direct signal of delivery quality.
2.3 Full DevSecOps pipeline
We designed and implemented a DevSecOps pipeline covering all three environments (dev, staging, production). Test automation, security checks, continuous integration, and rapid deployment of high-quality digital products. This is the "robust framework" the client described in their public testimonial.
